So RC Hockenheim supports - like many other clubs - the district's initiative "Healthy Kids", to foster a balanced diet and food consciousness of children.

Rotary too prepares for the world championship. In Kaiserslautern a Rotarian Table has been set up by the local clubs. On days with a match, meeting point is in the Town Hall (21st floor), on other days meeting point is in Cafe Bremer (Pirmasenser Str.). Rotarians from all over the world are welcome!

Invitation for Children from Chernobyl
Rotary Club of Worms Nibelungen donated 1,000 Euros to Klessinger couple from Heppenheim, wo invited 21 children from Chernobyl to stay for three weeks in Worms.
RC Worms Nibelungen supports their initiative for a long time now, "because it's excellent, direct and realistic", as President Peter Derst said.

Rotarians support Youth Center
RC Mainz-Churmeyntz contributed 5000 € to the Zwerchallee Youth Center and Children's Home in Mainz. The fund was raised at the wine market, where Rotary sold wine sponsored by local winegrowers.
The Center was build by inhabitants of the "Zwerchallee" street, where homeless people settled. The Rotarian gift is used to complete furnishing of the Center, especially for medical consultancy and educational toys.

In 2003, RC Dieburg-Babenhausen offered a Xmas calendar to raise funds for the PolioPlus campaign. 8'500 € was the result from this action. Thus, some thousands of children can be vaccinated.
